WEBSITE INFORMATION
Your inquiry and this website
Contact form
The form asks for your name, company, work email, optional phone number, and a message so CCS can respond. Please do not include passwords, payment information, or sensitive customer records.
Unsubmitted form entries are saved in this browser tab’s session storage for up to one hour to help recover them after a browser verification check. The saved draft is removed after a successful submission. Closing the tab normally ends that session.
Technical details with inquiries
Inquiry emails include the server-observed connection IP and submission time, plus available browser-reported information: user agent, approximate browser and operating-system family, device category, language, time zone, browser window size and submission page path. These details help us troubleshoot inquiries and identify spam. They are sent with your inquiry to CCS; no separate tracking profile is created by this form. We do not request precise location, computer name, serial number, installed software or browsing history. Browser details can be inaccurate, and an IP may represent a shared network, VPN or proxy.
Security and hosting
The form uses a session cookie, an anti-bot field, a minimum completion time, and request limits. The host may also perform a browser check. The form keeps a hash derived from an IP address and recent submission timestamps in a temporary server file to limit repeated submissions. Hosting systems may maintain access and security logs.
Live chat
This site loads a tawk.to chat widget. Using chat may involve cookies and the processing of information you provide by that service. Read tawk.to’s privacy policy for its practices.
Newsletter
This site loads a Flodesk signup form. When you subscribe, the information you enter is sent to Flodesk to manage newsletter delivery. Signups through this banner are grouped to help CCS understand which signup form subscribers used. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter. See Flodesk’s privacy policy for its information-handling practices.
Site analytics
The production website retains the existing Google Tag Manager container. Tags configured there may collect usage information or set cookies. CCS should review the container’s active tags and any required consent settings before launch.
Customer-support texting privacy
CCS Technologies LLC, doing business as Computer Consulting Service (CCS), is preparing a customer-support SMS/MMS service. Texting is not yet available through this program. These terms describe the program when it becomes available.
Support texts are for one-to-one assistance with technical issues, troubleshooting, scheduling support, and service-ticket updates. This program does not send marketing or promotional messages.
We use your mobile number, messages, and consent records to provide the support you request, manage your messaging preferences, and operate the service. Do not send passwords, payment card details, or sensitive customer records by text.
CCS does not sell, rent, or share your personally identifiable information with other companies for their marketing purposes.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or other mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their own purposes. Providers that deliver or operate our messaging service may process the information only as needed to provide that service for CCS. We may disclose information when legally required.
Customer-support SMS/MMS terms
Our SMS privacy policy explains how we handle your number, messages, and consent records.
Participation is optional. Providing a phone number on our general contact form, subscribing to our newsletter, or becoming a customer does not by itself enroll you in support texts. Before initiating support texts, CCS will obtain and record your permission. We obtain explicit permission for support messaging through a verbal disclosure during a phone call or in-person support conversation and record your agreement. An initial text from you does not by itself enroll you in ongoing support updates.
Message frequency varies with your support needs. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing services.
When the program is active, reply STOP to opt out of support texts. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance, or call 888-442-4933. You can continue to request support by phone after opting out.
Delivery is subject to your mobile carrier and network availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texting is not an emergency service.
